City St George's, University of London's CityVentures business support service is helping tackle barriers to opportunity through entrepreneurship.

In partnership with Diversity VC and Social Mobility Ventures, CityVentures is developing programmes and research focused on supporting founders from working-class backgrounds, while its enterprise support and incubation activities help people access skills, networks and routes into business creation. The initiative demonstrates how universities can use research and knowledge exchange to widen economic opportunity and support social mobility.
