SOAS Civic Leaders' Academy targeting young Londoners at risk of becoming NEET

In partnership with the Great London Authority and other higher education institutions across London, SOAS runs a two-day programme for 30 Year 10s from partner schools over February half-term, using civic engagement to build leadership skills, framed around the SOAS graduate attributes. The aim is to grow participants' knowledge about universities and their aspirations to study further, supporting young people furthest from opportunity – and specifically those at risk of becoming NEET – into future study and careers.
